If several open boxes of k cups are cluttering up your kitchen pantry, drawers, counter or cupboards, it's time to get creative with your storage options. Not only will proper K-cup storage make your kitchen look neater and more organized, but it will also make your life easier as well. 

The good news is that you don't have to spend a lot of time or money putting the coffee and tea pods in their places. In fact, you may be able to use household items you already own as creative storage spaces instead of purchasing pricey specialized organizers. 

Here are some ways to think out-of-the-box when it comes to K-cup storage.

1. Spice Rack

Instead of using a decorative wood or black wrought iron spice rack to hold your salt, pepper, and other seasonings, put it use as a K-cup organizer instead. Install the rack on a wall near your coffee maker so that your pods are always right at hand. 

You may need to hang more than one rack, depending on how many coffee and tea pods you have. As another option, you can rotate your K-cup supply weekly or monthly for variety. 

2. Cookie Jars 

If you are a vintage cookie jar collector and don't know what to do with them, fill them with K-cups. Use a different jar for each flavor or type of pod, and label them with mini chalkboards if you'd like. As a festive touch, switch out the jars to reflect different seasons and holidays, such as pumpkin-shaped jar for Halloween or a snowman-inspired design for the winter months. 

3. PVC Pipes

Measure the length of the area under a kitchen cabinet, and buy several PVC pipes cut to fit that measurement. Install the pipes horizontally under the cabinet using hot glue, slit side down, and slide the coffee and tea pods into them, label-size out. Buy one pipe for each type of pod for easy selection.
